Canadian Operations

Field Aviation designs, modifies and certifies aircraft for specialized roles across the globe. Our expertise is the missionization of commercial platforms for search and rescue, intelligence, surveillance and interdiction roles for both government and civilian customers.

We also develop system specific STCs for many different aircraft. Our capabilities include build-to-print parts manufacturing for aircraft OEMs and our own modifications. We are also a factory authorized repair, overhaul and sales center for many avionics equipment manufacturers.

Field Aviation Inc., ("Field"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Field Aerospace, a privately held U.S. company, today announces completion of the acquisition of ARINC (ASES LLC) from Rockwell Collins.

ASES LLC, operating as ARINC Aerospace, provides aircraft modification, integration and maintenance services, as well as logistical and sustainment capabilities for Department of Defense (DoD), government, commercial, business, and private customers. Following completion of the acquisition, ASES will operate as Field Aerospace.

With the completion of this acquisition, Field will have over 500 highly skilled staff in North America based in hangar and production facilities totaling over 350,000 square feet. With hangars at Will Rogers World Airport Oklahoma City, OK, USA, Toronto Pearson International Airport, Toronto ON, Canada and an Aerospace Parts manufacturing facility in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Field is well positioned to meet the needs of its customers worldwide.

ASES' primary focus has been on larger airframes, including the C-130, KC 10, KC 135 and E-6B. Field Aviation's focus has been on regional aircraft of less than 100,000 lbs., including maritime surveillance aircraft (MSA), based on the Challenger 605 platform and the classic Dash 8. The two companies will benefit from leveraging the natural synergies that will result from the acquisition.

"When we purchased Field Aviation in 2012, we wanted to use the company as a launching point for further acquisitions, particularly in the United States. Today marks the first such purchase. The combined capability will allow Field to expand its product offerings from a small turboprop all the way up to the largest of jet aircraft."
